Mental Health First Aid and Suicide First Aid Courses

MHFA Mental Health First Aid Training
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training courses are delivered by specially qualified trainers, in accordance with MHFA England guidelines.
Much like physical first aid in the workplace, we offer that same support for mental health.
Mental Health First Aid Training is a two-day course. Delivered in your workplace directly to delegates or online. Everyone who completes the course gets:
◆ A certificate of attendance to say you are a Mental Health First Aider
◆ A manual to refer to whenever you need it
◆ A quick reference card for the Mental Health First Aid action plan
◆ A workbook including a helpful toolkit to support your own mental health
Once you have completed this 2 day course you have an option to gain a Level 3 RSPH qualification in MHFA, please speak to your instructor at the end of the course for further details -
MHFA One Day - Mental Health Champions
An awareness and skills course which will teach you to:
◆ Recognise the main signs and symptoms of common mental health issues
◆ Provide initial support
◆ Guide a person towards appropriate professional help
◆ Be mindful of your own wellbeing
◆ Develop an understanding of how you can create and maintain a healthier workforce or community -
MHFA Refresher Training
We believe that mental health should be treated equally to physical health. And just like physical first aid, Mental Health First Aid training should be kept up to date.
If you’re a Mental Health First Aider or MHFA Champion, take the MHFA Refresher course every three years to:
◆ Keep your awareness of mental health support current
◆ Update your knowledge of mental health and what influences it
◆ Practice applying the Mental Health First Aid action planThis is a four-hour session with a mix of presentations, discussions, and activities. So if it’s time to update your skills, contact us to arrange your refresher training.

Suicide First Aid Lite
This is a 1/2 day course that can be delivered face to face or virtual classroom.
The course gives you the tools and knowledge you need to understand that suicide is one of the most preventable deaths and that a set of simple skills are all that is required to help someone with thoughts of suicide to stay safe from their thoughts and stay alive.

Suicide First Aid Through Understanding Suicide Interventions (SFAUSI)
This is a one-day course that can be delivered face to face or virtual classroom.
Suicide First Aid Through Understanding Suicide Interventions is:
